Condition Guide

Welcome! We use specific condition labels for our video games to give you a clear understanding of what you're purchasing. Below, we’ll walk you through the different condition options you’ll see on our site. Regardless of the condition, all our games are tested and guaranteed to work. Every game also comes with a 10-day guarantee, starting from the day you receive it.

Main Conditions

  • Near Mint: The highest quality, with little to no blemishes. We prioritize the condition of the inserts in plastic cases over the case itself.

  • Very Good/Great: May show more signs of wear but is overall in excellent condition.

  • Good/Acceptable: Reflects expected wear for its age, with no significant damage.

  • Fair/Worn: Indicates noticeable major blemishes, such as writing or small tears.

  • Very Poor: May have rips, large tears, significant discoloration, or other severe damage.

  • Missing: This label is used when an item is incomplete, such as a missing box or manual when only one or neither is included.

How We Denote What’s Included and the Condition of Each Item

We strive to make it clear what comes with your purchase and the condition of each component. Here’s how we typically display this information:

  • Game: Condition | Box: Condition | Manual: Condition
  • Game: Condition | Box & Manual: Condition
  • Game: Condition | Box: Missing
  • Game: Condition | Box: Condition | Manual: Missing
  • Game: Condition | Manual: Condition | Box: Missing
  • Disc Only: Condition
  • Cart Only: Condition
  • UMD Only: Condition (Used specifically for PlayStation Portable games)

Additional Labels

  • Ungraded: This indicates that we haven’t assessed the condition of the item, usually because it's valued at less than $10. If you’d like us to check the condition of a specific game, please reach out, and we can update the listing or send you photos.

  • NEW: Indicates that the item is unopened and still in its original packaging.

  • Pre-Order: Used for items scheduled for future release or items currently out of stock but expected to be available again soon. Specific details are always provided in the item’s description.

  • Special Printings: If a game is a special edition, like “Greatest Hits,” we’ll note it in the condition if we can identify it. However, some loose games, especially PlayStation 1 titles, might not be marked due to the lack of distinguishing features.

A Note About Grading

Our condition grades are meant to give you a general idea of what you’re purchasing, but they are subjective and should not be compared to the grading scales of professional video game grading companies.
