Nintendo Entertainment System

Brawl through city streets and criminal hideouts in Double Dragon for the Nintendo Entertainment System, a side-scrolling beat-'em-up that helped define the genre on home consoles. As martial artist Billy Lee, you’ll fight your way through the Black Warriors gang to rescue your kidnapped girlfriend Marian. Armed with punches, kicks, and a variety of weapons pried from enemies, you’ll battle through gritty environments packed with thugs, bosses, and platforming challenges. While the NES version omits co-op play, it introduces an all-new leveling system that adds depth to the action.

Key Features:

Single-Player Story Mode
Fight solo as Billy Lee across four stages to defeat the Black Warriors gang.

Progressive Combat System
Gain new moves like uppercuts and jump kicks by leveling up through experience.

Weapon Pickups
Use enemy weapons such as bats, knives, and whips to turn the tide of battle.

Versus Mode
Face off against the CPU or a friend in a one-on-one fighting mini-game.

Urban Beat-’Em-Up Atmosphere
Grimy backdrops, intense music, and iconic boss fights set the tone for a classic NES brawler.
