Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean is a traditional Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) developed by Sunsoft and published by Working Designs for the Sega Saturn. Originally released in Japan on August 9, 1996, and later in North America on July 24, 1997, this title marks the first in the Albert Odyssey series to be localized for English-speaking audiences .

In this game, players follow the journey of Pike, a young man raised by harpies after his family was slain by monsters. When his adoptive sister is turned to stone by an evil mage, Pike embarks on a quest to find a cure, accompanied by Cirrus, a talking sword housing the spirit of one of the legendary Eldean siblings .
